Behind every great Landscape is a detailed and well-considered design. Putting a landscape design in place is the first and most important step in building your garden. This plan becomes the backbone of your project and is revisited many times along the way this is how it works.
Initial consultation
We work our way through your garden to look at the existing area and talk about how you want to use the space. We take your ideas, favorite images and wish list to establish a style and brief for the project. At this early stage we discuss your budget and what is achievable.
Concept plan
A concept plan provides you with the first visual of your new outdoor landscaping. It includes a floor plan and hand drawn sketch that we can edit , ad or remove items as we share ideas back and forth, once we have reached the perfect landscape idea it's when we start talking about materials, a recommended plant list and lighting plan. At this point we will provide a basic quote for the project.
Working drawings
Working drawings are produced when major structural elements such as a pool or outdoor room start to take shape during the conceptual process. The working drawings consider building codes and local government regulations, and are used for construction stage. 3D drawings can also bring the plan to life and help to visualise or refine the design.
Construction documentation
We will arrange council permits, soil reports and engineering specifications to prepare for construction of your landscape project. Once completed we will present a final itemised quote to construct your new outdoor space, and a client contract to lock in the project.
